Tour de Ski Stage 3: Karlsson Wins In Oberstdorf

Frida Karlsson secured first place in the women’s race for Sweden at the Tour de Ski stage 3. Results from the women’s 10km individual start in classic technique.

Frida Karlsson took home first place today at the Tour de Ski stage 3. Krista Parmakoski, from Finland, snagged second place, 16.6 seconds behind.

Anne Kjersti Kalvå, from Norway, completed the podium in third place, 18.1 seconds behind the winner.

Tour de Ski Overall after Stage 3 – Top 3 Women

The Pro Tour athlete Astrid Øyre Slind (NOR), Team Aker Dæhlie, finished the stage in the 11th position, 1:00.5 behind the winner, and is in the top 10 overall, 2:04 behind Karlsson.

Ski Classics Champion bib leader Ida Dahl (SWE), Team Engcon, finished 2:25.7 behind the winner and is the 26th-best skier so far at this year’s Tour de Ski, 3:49 back.

The 20km pursuit race in freestyle technique on Wednesday, for both women and men, is the next event for the Tour de Ski 2022/2023.

New this season is the same race distances for women and men in all World Cup events, as the International Ski & Snowboard Federation (FIS) decided in May. Several other changes have also been introduced to the World Cup.
