Valerio Grond Gold At the Men’s U23 Sprint World Championships

The fifth day of the Junior and U23 World Cross-Country Ski Championships saw the Swiss Valerio Grond winning the U23 men’s sprint freestyle race.

Valerio Grond, from Switzerland, won today’s U23 sprint freestyle race. Switzerland’s cross-country skier finished 0.41 seconds ahead of the Russian silver medalist Denis Filimonov.

From Norway, Magnus Oeyaas Haabrekke finished 0.67 seconds back and got the bronze medal.
