The Olos Ski Race Weekend in Finnish Muonio is one of the early-season highlights in cross-country skiing, offering an exciting, high-caliber, three-day competition weekend with thrilling battles on the ski track. Organized by Muonion Kiri, the program from the 15th to the 17th of November includes sprints on Friday, a 10 km classic technique race on Saturday, and a 10 km freestyle race on Sunday.

Organized by Muonion Kiri, the program from the 15th to the 17th of November includes sprints on Friday, a 10 km classic technique race on Saturday, and a 10 km freestyle race on Sunday.

The start lists and official registrations for the race weekend have not yet been published. On the starting line, you’ll typically get the biggest Finnish stars like Iivo Niskanen, together with a solid international start field. Expected skiers are the Norwegian national team members Erik Valnes and Martin Løwstrøm Nyenget, Pia Fink, and Katharina Hennig from Germany. The Italian national team will be in the area for a training camp and may also be on the starting line in the races.

Sprint Heats, 13:00-15:00

Saturday, November 16, 2024
Classic 10 km, 09:30-14:00
